Peak-Ryzex And Palletforce Extend Their Longstanding Partnership For Five More Years
CHIPPENHAM, WILTSHIRE (UK) (24th September 2019) – Peak-Ryzex, a globally recognised name in end-to-end mobility and mobile workforce solutions, is proud to announce a new extension to its longstanding relationship with express distribution specialist, Palletforce. The new contract will see the two companies extend their rewarding relationship for an additional five years.
This relationship began in 2013, providing a wide range of mobility-led solutions designed to support and enhance its extensive portfolio of services, including express palletised distribution, warehousing and storage and innovative IT systems. During that time, Palletforce was awarded the Motor Transport Best Use of Technology award for its industry-leading technology applications.
The new partnership deal will extend that relationship into 2024, with Peak-Ryzex set to rollout a tailored technology solution specifically designed to suit Palletforce’s considerable infrastructure and express distribution requirements.
“We value working with Palletforce and I’m delighted that partnership will continue in the years to come,” said UK Managing Director at Peak-Ryzex, John Coon. “Peak-Ryzex is already familiar with the company’s business demands, so we’re in a key position to support Palletforce with a mobility solution that’s calibrated to suit the needs of a large-scale distribution and logistics specialist.”
As part of this latest project rollout, Peak-Ryzex will be providing an end-to-end mobility solution including a range of state-of-the art rugged mobile computers with a complete managed service covering remote mobile device management (MDM), next working day repairs (NWDE), technical consultancy, together with a complete airtime package.
“With logistics increasingly driven by technology and innovation, Palletforce demanded a combination of the best hardware, robust live tracking capability and quality support for its members using the devices,” explained Palletforce IT director Dean Hughes. “We turned to Peak-Ryzex as they are a trusted partner, having been an integral part of our previous ePOD project, and understand our slim tolerances for device downtime. This is another major investment for Palletforce to ensure we pioneer sector-leading technology and innovation to drive and support long-term growth and stability for our national network of members.”
Palletforce is now a part of EV Cargo, one of the UK’s largest providers of transport, logistics and freight forwarding services and logistics technology. EV Cargo was formed as part of a consolidation of Adjuno, Allport Cargo Services, CM Downton, Jigsaw, NFT and Palletforce in 2018.
