Peak-Ryzex Invests In A Cleaner, Greener Future With The Installation Of New On-Site Electric Vehicle Charging Stations At Its Chippenham HQ

End-to-end mobility solutions provider Peak-Ryzex continues to add to its green credentials with the introduction of multiple wall charging points for electric vehicles & plug-in hybrid electric vehicles at its main UK office

CHIPPENHAM, WILTSHIRE – UK (17th April 2020) – As part of its continuing commitment to deploying and supporting greener & cleaner initiatives throughout its operations, globally recognised end-to-end mobility solutions provider Peak-Ryzex is proud to unveil its latest empowering addition: the installation of multiple new wall-mounted charging stations positioned outside its UK headquarters in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Installed on the external walls of the premises in early April 2020, the charging station utilises four separate wall-mounted charging points, including two Rolec 16A & two 32A EVWP2036 Superfast EV Chargers. These cost-effective charging points are made from corrosion resistant material and fire-retardant components, making them both long-lasting and impact resistant. Each of the four units has been designed with safety to the user – and the business – in mind, incorporating three-phase isolation switches, LED charging status indicators and a fault current protection (RCBO) component.

One of many clean energy initiatives being actively rolled out by the mobility solutions provider & integrator in the UK, these Rolec charging points offer full Mode 3 charging to both EV (electric vehicle) & PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) cars. Fully tested and ready for use, these charging stations will provide clean energy sources for Peak-Ryzex employees, partners and customers visiting our Chippenham HQ in the months & years to come.

James Spence, Services Director at Peak-Ryzex, was one of the first electric car owners at the company to take advantage of the new charging station. “I’m really passionate about incorporating greener initiatives into our lives, so seeing Peak-Ryzex make such a proactive investment in this form of energy is really inspiring,” comments James. “And as an electric car owner, it’s fantastic that I can recharge my vehicle’s batteries on site in between my daily commutes & regular customer visits.”

The installation of these innovative charging stations is just of many clean energy and green initiatives Peak-Ryzex has implemented in recent months, including the implementation of a more efficient lighting rig throughout the warehouse in its Chippenham HQ and the removal of plastic bottles at its iNSIGHT19 event in favour of free reusable metal bottles for every delegate that attended the event in October 2019. Peak-Ryzex is committed to these clean energy activities, and we look forward to sharing more these initiatives in the future.
