DHL Express is a division of the German logistics company Deutsche Post DHL that provide international express mail services. They are a world leader in sea and air mail and have around 275,000 employees.
DHL Express have timed delivery KPIs that they have to reach. In the past, when they had a broken device the courier couldn’t carry out their job and they had a very slow, manual process in place to get this device repaired or replaced. They also faced issues over incorrect data being transferred from paper sources back into their systems.
Peak-Ryzex continue to provide DHL Express with Motorola devices which feed back live data to their customers as part of their EPOD system. Peak-Ryzex also provide them with devices for their warehouse environment – to scan inbound and outbound shipments as they go through. In both instances, these devices are pre-built and fully packaged with accessories, and they have an NWDE service in place.

Under their old system this would have taken them 3 months.
