Curo is a not-for-profit housing and support organisation based in Bath, providing affordable homes and high quality care and support services across the West of England. They manage 12,000 homes and build around 300 new homes every year.

Problem

Curo needed to make sure their engineers had fully operational devices at all times. They had a specific requirement for a single point of contact for any technical issues with their Samsung devices - which was difficult with their internal resources.

Solution

Peak-Ryzex were chosen as they were able to offer the skills and experience to support Curo’s responsive repairs team, as their single point of contact. Peak-Ryzex supported Curo’s mobile estate via Mobile Device Management (MDM), which allowed the Peak-Ryzex helpdesk to remotely access devices to diagnose and fix problems. Curo also took Peak-Ryzex’ Next Working Day Exchange (NWDE) service, allowing them to obtain ready-to-use devices quickly should a swapout be required.

Results

Having a central point of contact for all of their technical issues had a significant impact on Curo’s operations. Having a paperless system in place significantly improved their efficiency, and knowing Peak-Ryzex could fully support this brought substantial benefits to Curo. MDM software reduced their device downtime as most matters could be resolved remotely, and if not the fast swapout provided by Peak-Ryzex’ NWDE service further ensured Curo were operating at peak efficiency.
